Banking on podcasting
HSBC Commerical Bank have just launched their first podcast, aimed at alerting mid-market companies to the benefits of doing business in China.

"An increasing number of people have embraced podcasting technology and now expect to get news on-demand," said HSBC global co-head, Alan Keir. The hour-long audio program features a keynote speech by former Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Chairman and China expert, David Eldon.

It is the first in a series of free podcasts that can be downloaded from hsbc.co.uk/business

Learning curve
Universities in Victoria are embracing podacasting as a way to provide on-demand lectures to students. Deakin University have recently spent some $300,000 installing a special lecture-capture system to enable course material to be recorded and published, two hours later, as podcasts. More details
